Things that happened this past faire and things that need to be known.
The Elven Infinatum
They have been successful in their alchemical creation.What they created is basically a plague. While I believe it still to be resist-able, it will affect any non-elf. It will kill if left untreated and it is contagious. It is a plague.
They are preventing me from creating a cure. I could use some help with this and don't wish to post everything publicly.
Elves of Lorringar and elsewhere who read this. Do you really want to belong to this group? That would not just see "elves" regain their primacy, but would kill all non-elves? I have watched families die, children die. And all the while slaves are taken and sold for cheap coin. Is this what you wanted to be a part of? The murder and enslavement of those who don't look like, or act like you? This isn't "Elves first" it's "Elves only". By inaction to stop it, you allow it to happen. If you do not stand for murder, enslavement and genocide then stand against the Infinatum.
The Seer
We rescued the seer, a young black drake woman, from what we now know to be "blood hags" Previously, after rescuing the seer from being split in three, we restored her spirit into a single body. I personally delivered her to the Bear clan who meant to take her to the gryphon. The blood hags' warriors were too strong for them and the swamps were between the Bear and the Gryphon. The Seer was captured and a ritual began to take the seer's power. The Blood Hags use blood as a way to take power from those they kill. Those who killed the Bear warriors will be stronger than those who did not, for example.
We killed many Serpent barbarians, other aggressive wild races, and the blood hags' creations to get to the ritual circle near the cliffs where the gryphon lives. We broke the circle and stopped the ritual. Rescuing the seer and letting her travel to the gryphon's home.The blood hag appeared dead or dying and many adventurers left.
Later I was informed by the Gryphon that the blood hag had been healed. It became clear that the reason for this was Skarth cast a purify blood on her. The Blood hags' magic is as in the name, tightly tied to blood. To break a connection between a hag and her victim, a purify or taint blood can be used to change the victim's blood. Similarly, purifies and taints would have different effects in different ways. In this case, Skarth's spell healed the hag. This hag does not have the seer's power, but without knowing what their magic can do this is worth knowing that that specific hag still lives.
The Wraith Riders
There are specific spirits that can and do possess people in town. Thus far they have not gotten adventurers other than myself that I am aware. They are killing spirits and getting stronger and a number of them are trapped but I need help taking them out. At some point they will likely go for adventurers. This turns you into a meat puppet. Your mind is your own, but you have no control over your body as another spirit is controlling it.
That said, I can protect you and your building from spirits that can possess you while unconscious or that can walk through your ward.
The bovine and ilithids
There's at least one ilithid controlling many bovine scavengers. Mystics have also been caught up in this. We need to kill it and kill it now. Townspeople shouldn't travel alone nor be lured from the road.
A different ilithid
The ilithid who has appeared in town with a metal plate on his head should not be killed, harmed or harassed. He is under my protection until or unless he proves false. I will drink any enslavement antidotes needed, be identified, have my spirit riders speak or not as you like. This is my own choice of my own free will I swear it by the Long Road and I know how it sounds.
