I've seen some strange things lately

Just thought I'd put this up here for any of you tough fighter types. Or curious individuals. Lately, I've been seeing creatures roaming the edges of my land. It's almost always at night. They look like they could be human, but there's fire and darkness moving about their bodies. They don't do much but roam about, almost as though they are looking for something, but I'm not going to get closer to ask what they are looking for.

I'll spend some time here if anyone has any questions about what I've seen.

Do they appear to have the fire and darkness moving over their bodies, or as a part of their bodies? Also, do they appear to be damaging the areas that they are moving through?

These creatures have bodies made of fire and shadow. I don't know how better to explain it. I'm just a farmer. They aren't destroying anything, as far as I can tell, but looking for something. I know sometimes adventurers bring strange things with their presence, but I don't know if these creatures are here because of the adventurers, or something else.
