*A message appears. The pale green ink glows faintly when viewed in low light. The contents of the message fade to nothing if touched in any way.*
Three by three by three they walk stepping hand in hand
And though their mouths move none can hear but elves bound to the land
Across an empty plain that stretches past the edge of sight
Three by three by three they glide amidst a pale green light
Three by three by three they sit in coats and skirts of white
Across the empty land the day slowly gives in to night
A globe of hot white fire burns by each as the hour grows late
Three by three by three black shadows join and sit and wait
Three by three by three their voices rise and fall and flow
And near the globes of fire shadows watch and wait and grow
Across the land an elf appears alone and moves unseen
Three by three by three now wrapped in chains of fire green
Three by three by three they fall, unchecked the elf does roam
And shadows only flee from magic of a master’s tome
Across the land six shadows race as night gives way to day
Three be three by three the final price three did pay
Three by three by three they fell and six were taken back
And in the lab outside of time wrapped now in chains of black
Across the Planes the power drawn to keep the six alive
Three by three by three no more alive were left but five
Five alone and chained their shadows taken with their minds
Replaced with fire, Ice, and death, the chains wrap each like vines
Life and chaos prove their strength, then life becomes no more
Five alone and chained the nine now only number four
Four though freed once from their chains yet still bound where they stay
Within his lab outside of time where night blends into day
The old man readies each with words of magic on his breath
Four grow to frightening size with fire, ice, chaos and death
Three by three by three their magic did one elf demand
Alone one sits chained to the Tree, the one bound to the Land
The one bound to the Land he demands a price of blood
To send them where the power flows as though a raging flood
Three by three by three they walked, stepping hand in hand
Their voices silenced every one by one old elven man
Four remain trapped outside time, their shadows roaming free
To lead those willing to pay the price to the one bound to the Tree
Three by three by three they walk stepping hand in hand
