The good:
It was great to see the game grow and have an event that was more then 10-12 people.
It was cool to see folks that I used to play with years ago and I enjoyed RPing with the returned "mudpies". Hope you guys make it back.
The water mod was good fun and a nice break from adventuring.
The improved food at the tavern and food/snacks throughout the event was Awesome!!
The Bad:
Lack of organization on monster camp. Seemed like Dave was the only one running/organizing plots which resulted in a good amount of downtime, very few if any actual "adventures", and an in-cohesive plot line. Best I could tell was that the water plane was throwing a temper tantrum in ports landing...general response seemed to be "So what." No real incentive to care other then the fact that its all that seemed to be happening. Nobody to my knowledge has any real ties with ports landing or a reason to care if the ocean rises up and swallows the city whole.
I am not a fan of "in the box" Nero. I want more out of a game then a video game squish monster/collect loot. I want a reason to care, I want moral challenges, I want to be engaged on more then just a "smish it, get coin" level. Things seem to be rather static and Blaise with regards to the overall nero box. I personally want more expansion within the game. A reason to invest in the town of Midway and care when its in danger other then if we dont then we get to spend the event bored.
I would like to see merchants who actually bring some merchandise into town, or some information on where shops are if we want to go buy stuff. Every merchant that I saw come in was "What do you want?" Instead of "This is what I have with me, but if you are looking for something let me know and I will see if I can find it."
I am not a fan of how many evil/neutral evil characters we have in game right now. Seems like everyone I talk to is just another greedy power hungry adventurer who would sell his mom for a bag of gold. Not a lot that Plot can do about this, it seems to be fairly standard nero playstyle but felt it was worth mentioning.
Thats all I have for now, let me know if you have any questions.
