Hey Everybody!!
I Just wanted to give you all a heads up about the way our staff runs all that in-game logistical nightmare stuff during a game. We briefly go over this in PC Talk but it was thought that it was needed to have a more in-depth talk about it now that our events are growing in size and keep it posted as a sticky for all the world to see! YAY! Sometimes our Staff has a good idea….Okay we’ve had one good idea probably ever and it was probably this but you get the point.
Below is a list of each staff member and the specific roles the play as Marshalls and a brief description of other things they do, this way you have a general Idea of what they do.
The Owners:
John: He is our full time Logistics person. He totally rules logistics and is awesome at it, he is also our primary ritual marshal. As this is his full time job, he will have a signup sheet at logistics. If you know that you will be casting specific rituals, please sign up so we know how much free time John has. If you know because of some mystical alignment in the stars that you can only cast this ritual at X time, please make a note of that on the signup sheet so John knows who needs him at what time. Other than that, it will pretty much be first come first serve. Physical Description: He’s the guy with the Mohawk checking you in. If you are a ritual caster, acquaint yourself with his adorable face at logistics.
Matt: He is our general sneaky, sneaky, stabby, stabby rogue guy. Get him first if you plan to do the sneaky stuff otherwise you will have a big dumb animal following you going, “You’re going to rob that cabin right?” Physical Description: He’s got some amazing Chops, and typically if he’s within hearing range and you say loudly enough “where’s Matt?” he will mysteriously appear at your side. No one knows how he does it. He just does.
Dave: Marshal=Yes, Busy=Yes, Dave is our head of plot and can be the hardest of us to get ahold of from time to time. Feel free to bug him we all like to see his head explode. No really, it is fun. He’s our back up ritual Marshal, and back up rogue Marshall, and our back up newbie Marshall. If you have a problem with something on plot talk to Dave, Dave is the one to go to for plot issues. By the same token if you are casting a High Horoscope, Delve History, or Dreamvision GET DAVE FIRST! If he is busy and can’t spare the time for the ritual he knows who to send in his stead. Physical Description: He’s a big dumb animal folks. And did I mention loud? Dave is hard to miss.
The Other Staff:
Ashley: Ashley is our Newbie Marshal/Race Marshal/Monster Shack Marshall. If you’re a newbie and you have rules questions, or are confused about something go to Ashley, she will hook you up, show you the ropes and make your life a little bit easier. She is also the first person to talk to if you have race questions like I was in X situation and X happened and I wasn’t sure how my Orc was supposed to react so I reacted like this. She pretty much knows who on staff is most familiar with that race if she can’t answer the question herself. And she knows where to look. Her Most important role though is totally being in charge of Monster Shack if you need to borrow something physical from monster camp, please tell her she knows where she can keep a list so we can get our stuff back. Physical Description: The Barely Legal Blonde in monster camp with the cutest little cherub cheeks.
James: James is our Head of Monster Squad, please head to him first with all mod cards, missions, and job boards. He’s the one that is responsible for knowing where our NPC’s are at any given time and also running mods and knowing if a specific plot person is needed for a specific mod, job board or mission. He is also the one responsible for beating out NPC’s into submission… Wait I mean, never mind I meant that, all monsters should be reporting to him. Physical Description: tall, gangly bean pole, energizer bunny.
KateMonster: I don’t know when people stopped referring to me as Kate but it happened. As for me You can get me to marshal a ritual if you’re auto success and it’s plot related, if John is busy and you are auto success and you need to cast another ritual, me. If you can’t find Dave and you need Dave, me. Either I can fix it or use my Davedar to find Dave. If you have plot questions and you can’t find Dave, Me again. If you have a Mod-card and can’t find James cause he’s off on a mod or something. You guess it me. Literally, the only person on this list that I can’t stand in for is Matt, or John/Dave if you’re not auto success(this part will get rectified as I have time to learn everything about Ritual Marshaling they’re teaching me there’s a timing issue.) You may wonder why they keep this useless bag of plot around? One reason: I know how to update the website, administrate the forums, and do other technological voodoo that they don’t know how to do. As an added benefit I get to write plot and draw you all into my mad little world. Physical Description: The average looking brown haired, brown eyed, chubby cheeked, baby faced, weirdo.
